After first day of daycare

These pics were at the end of my first day of work and Abigail's first day of daycare. It was as hard as I expected it would be, but we survived! She was so tired that night when we got home, as evidenced by the big yawn below! Each day gets a wee bit easier. But she's still not napping fabulously at daycare, so she's pretty tired in the evening. I work Thurs and Fri this week, so we'll see how she fares 2 days in a row!

12 weeks old!

I can't believe it, but Abigail is 12 weeks old now! Her personality is blooming more every week. She is such a happy baby...it's very hard to not just sit next to her and talk with her whenever she's awake! We don't have many pictures this week because it's been a very busy week. Brad started his new job on Monday, the 16th. Bella had her ACL repaired on Wednesday. It's a lot of work to take care of a doggie after an orthopedic surgery...it's like I have had 2 kids this week! And I will be starting back to work tomorrow, the 23rd. Abigail and I visited Little Luke's, the daycare, earlier in the week. I am trying really hard to be ready to start work and leave Abigail...but it's going to be a hard day!

The New Moms Group that I went to has been doing BBQs once a month...these are all the babies! They range in age from 8 weeks to 4 months! So fun! Oh and note that Abigail has her dress pulled up in the picture below!

10 weeks

Oh how the time is flying! We started this week with the Fourth of July holiday and a visit from Auntie Glo. She is loving to chew on her fingers and has her hands in her mouth most of the time! By the end of the week, Abigail has really found her voice...she loves to chat with us now! And smiles are coming much more often...it's really quite hard to get much done when she's awake! I go back to work in less than 2 weeks...can't believe it's almost time for that. I am excited to go back, but really nervous about leaving her with someone else :)! I am going to "practice" by leaving her in the church nursery the next 2 Sundays and hopefully Auntie Lisa will have time to babysit once also!
