Fall update!

Things are busy around here...seems like it never ends!  And the holiday season is soon to be here, which will only add to the chaos!  But it's such a blessing to be so busy, especially with a sweet little toddler!  She is continuing to pick up new words all the time!  She can communicate her wants and needs and most of the time, even if it's with hand gestures in addition to a few words!  And this morning she put two words together...starting to work on sentences!  I wonder if she'll like to talk as much as her mommy and daddy did when they were little-we may be in for it!  She loves to talk to Bella or call Bella or tell Bella "out"!  "bee-ya ow!" with a little hand wave too!
We found out a couple weeks ago that Abigail will have a little sister, so I am busy starting to think about what we need and need to do to get ready for a little one again!  We are loving the cooler weather and changing leaves this time of year!  Here's to a happy fall and a great holiday season!

18 months and Halloween

Spring Babies 2013 group...they are getting so big!!

Abigail loves the bubble wand...she could care less about the bubbles, she just likes to dip the wand in the bubble juice!  So, this was the only way I could remotely get her to cooperate for this pic.  I think this was the last one :)!

Pumpkin carving with Daddy

Auntie and Abigail

She was being less than cooperative for pictures...but we got a few!

Chicken, Kangaroo, and Day at the Spa (it was his office theme!)

Our first Trick or Treat!  We only went to one house and didn't take any candy, but it was good practice for next year!

17 months! Time for fall!

On the move!

Sitting on her new step stool...made a perfect little chair!

Story of my life...tryng to do one thing, she wants me to do another!

Hanging out with Bella!

Abigail likes to hold the board for Mommy's belly pics!

Coloring a picture for Grandpa's birthday!  She loves to color!

"Helping" with the dishes!

On the hayride out to get our pumpkins!

This one looks good, right, Ma?!

We settled on this one instead!

She loves carrying around her pumpkin.  The sun was too bright to look up at the camera!

End of Summer update!

We have had a great summer...a camping trip, a trip to the cabin, lots of trips to the zoo and a couple of county fairs!  We've played in the yard, in the subdivision pool, and at the splash pad at the park with our little friends!  I am still so blessed to be part of an amazing group of mommies that all have first babies that are about the same age...what an awesome support system it's been!  And of course, our big news this summer...Baby Holland #2 is on the way, due March 7th, 2014.  I am starting to feel a little better, most days, and starting to get some energy back.  Thank goodness Abigail is a good napper, I need that afternoon nap to take a snooze myself!  Abigail just moved to the toddler room at daycare with her class and teachers.  She's down to one nap most days, getting a little pickier in her eating habits, and is learning how to use a spoon and fork.  She is talking so much and attempts to repeat so many things we say.  She's such a sponge!!  She's pretty much running now and is learning to assert her independence (wonder where she gets that?!).  We are excited for fall and cooler weather here in Idaho!  Hope everyone is doing well!

16 months

As you can see, it's getting harder each month to take these pics...Abigail walking, then both of them looking away, then I'm left with an empty picture!

Yum, dinner!  Cottage cheese is always a favorite!

Look at those curls!  So fun!

Big girl....drinking from mama's cup!

Always fun to be had in a box!

Bella's keeping an eye on things!

Abigail loves bringing her books out from her room...she brings them to us, then says, "ree, ree" for "read"!

Still pulling out the dish towels and rags, but now she really likes to arrange them on the floor or wrap her babies and little toys up in them!

Riding her big girl bike!

Ready to help mom make dinner!

Bella cleaned all the tomatoes off of our plant :/

Eating with her fork!

And if you can't stab it, just put it on with your fingers :)

Milk and a snack while Mama starts dinner!  Such a big girl in her booster seat now!  High chair is put away until the next one needs it!
