Sorry I am so tardy in getting all of these posts up!  It's been a busy, roller coaster, couple of months since I posted last.

We started our April with an accepted offer on a new house, then spent the rest of the month packing and moving!  No easy task with an 11-month old at your feet and into everything!  Most of the packing was done while she was napping.  

The weekend before we moved, we had Abigail's birthday party, what a great afternoon that was!   Thank you to all who came and we missed all of you who couldn't make it!

The last weekend of April, we spent moving into our new house.  But it turned out to be a very hard weekend...the day after we moved, our dear little Lucy ran away.  We spent the next five days diligently looking for her, only to get a phone call on Thursday that shattered our hopes for a happy ending.  While we miss her dearly, we are getting settled into our new house and Bella is getting used to being the only dog again (but probably not for too long!).

And Abigail is growing and changing by leaps and bounds!  She was 20 lbs at her one-yr check-up.  She is now taking 5-10 steps on her own, even today doing it without coaxing, just taking off on her own!  She is jabbering in her own little language lots.  She now has 8 teeth!  She is starting to look like a little toddler, not as much like a baby!  We love her dearly and can't remember life before we were a family of three!
