San Diego 3/29/15-4/2/15

Lisa had a conference to go to for work in San Diego, so she asked if Brianna and I wanted to go with Noah and her.  I would help babysit Noah and her company would pay for the hotel (Hotel Del Coronado!!) and rental car...don't mind if I do!!  What an adventure it turned out to be...two babies sleeping and napping in pack and plays in the same hotel room, eating out almost every meal with two 1yr olds, and Brianna got a little (ok bad) stomach bug.  I got a little touch of it also.  Eek...but now I know where the laundromat is on Coronado Island!
But we did get to see Brad's family and they got to meet Brianna!

Off we go!  It was VERY early...and you can tell by these babies' faces!  They are so alike in so many ways...hard to know if it's genes or just their similarity in age, but look at them...legs crossed, leaning into the middle, just chillin'!

Playing peek-a-boo with Noah!  They were a few rows up.

We were so blessed that  no one was sitting beside us so we got the whole row!  She played for awhile, fussed for awhile, then finally fell asleep!

But, it was a short nap...she almost fell asleep in the cart at Target once we got to San Diego (we had to get diapers, wipes, all the things we couldn't fit in our suitcase!).

Playing with GG and Grandma Pam and Sterling!

So fun to see them and so excited they got to meet Brianna!

First breakfast...two kids and no high chair!  We did breakfast in the room since Lisa was usually already at the conference by the time everyone was up!

Ready to take a stroll and explore Coronado!

Dinner with Auntie Stefani and Grandpa Steve...that's probably the only time Brianna smiled the whole night!  Turned out, she was probably already feeling pretty crummy!

Beach time!

Beachtime with Grandma Pam and Sterling!

First dip in the Pacific Ocean and beach sand!

She loved playing in the sand (she definitely has some daddy genes!)

Noah wasn't quite as sure of the sand!

Did I mention she LOVED the sand?!!

The tub was soooo sandy when we got back to the room!

It's tough to find enough things for 2 one-year olds to be entertained with in a hotel room...so a box and bottle brush it is!

Lunch time!  You can't tell, but she was standing next to the coffee table!

Snack time at the coffee table!

Morning stroll (to get my coffee!).  I can't even count the number of times I was asked if they were twins and told how cute they are (well, duh!).

Finally sleeping peacefully.  Poor kid did not feel good at all that day.

So, she had a massive blowout at lunch...I did not have a complete change of clothes with me.  So, she is naked excpet for her diaper, hoodie, and Noah's hoodie on her legs!  Luckily we were not too far from our room!  The day before, at lunch, she had thrown up all over me, herself, and the chair we were sitting in.  So, that's what prompted the trip to the laundromat!

And now...homeward bound.  She was finally feeling a little better, but still exhausted, so the ride home was a little nerve-wracking, until she finally fell asleep!

Fun trip, definitely lots of memories!!
